28 Curvy Business Casual Outfit Ideas from Amazon:

I am always on the hunt for affordable business casual pieces that fit my curvy body. I am midsize, I typically wear a size 12 or 14 pants and size Large or XL top, so I am right on the verge of plus-size.

You can find me on the hunt for business casual outfits from August 1 until May 30 when I am off school for the summer. I am here to share some of my favorite, affordable business casual outfit pieces and how I styled them for fall. All of these pieces are from Amazon.

To see how I style these items, check out my post on What I Wear in a Week as a Kindergarten Teacher.

This top is the perfect transitional piece. You can wear it as a tank in early September, then transition to adding a jacket or cardigan overtop as the weather gets cooler. I paired it with distressed denim and paper bag waist pants.

With the paper bag waist pants, I chose to tuck it in. Because the pants taper out at the bottom, I wanted to draw more attention to my waist. If I added a jacket, I would add a mid-length one that was more fitted to keep the attention on my waist and give my body some shape!

With the skinny jeans, I kept it untucked or did a half tuck. The skinny jeans gives my legs some shape, so leaving the sweater tank top untucked didn't make me look boxy (which is something I generally avoid).

I am obsessed with bodysuits. I feel like they give a more finished look and don't give you as many bumps and lumps as just a normal shirt tucked in does. Plus, you don't have to worry about your tops bunching up or coming untucked.

I was so excited to try this neutral turtleneck bodysuit on and it did not disappoint! Again, I paired this with a pair of distressed jeans as well as paper bag pants.

You could always add black belt if you felt like you wanted your look to be broken up. I loved this top and it comes in so many colors! It's thin so you won't get too warm, but not thin enough that you can see through it. This is one of my favorite bodysuits that I've worn!

Lastly, for a more casual look, I added an oversized denim jacket. This look is so versatile from day to night.

I have seen this dress everywhere, and I was dying to try it! I chose cobalt blue because I predict bold colors trending this fall--cobalt blue, sunny yellow, bold fuchsia, and emerald green.

I have to be honest, I was a little nervous about the ruffles under the neckline and that they would accentuate my stomach (I compared it to a maternity dress), but I was so pleasantly surprised!

The upwards diagonal pattern of the dress drew your eyes up and in, so it was really slimming with not feeling tight at all! This dress was an amazing length and I loved the color! This would look really great with some white western booties (I linked the cutest pair for only $15).

These are the number one best selling work pants on Amazon for a reason, they are absolutely amazing! They are so slimming, comfortable, adjustable, and professional looking--not to mention, affordable!

I love the tie that comes with the pants, it's adjustable and allows you to change up the look of the pants. I tried two different brands and loved them both, but the Grace Karin ones were my favorite, they were just a smidge softer.

I dressed these up in so many ways. Earlier, you saw I paired them with my knit tank top and turtle neck body suit. Then, I paired them with a dress shirt, blazer, and even transformed a dress into a top.

If you are midsize or plus size looking for work pants, you need these!

A good blazer can change your look dramatically! They can offer a more tailored look as well as dress a very casual look up. I am in love with them!

I tend to have a broader shoulders, so in something like a blazer I always make sure to look at measurements because sometimes I have to go up 2+ sizes. I love this blazer from Amazon, but also have fallen in love with a scrunch sleeve blazer that has a more relaxed fit from Walmart.

This is such a classic look that has come back. I have seen these button downs be worn as jackets, tops, swimsuit cover-ups and more.

I was looking for a more relaxed fit and wish I would have sized up for that in this particular piece, but I was able to style this more fitted top in ways that looked so polished and professional.

This is another dress that has grown in popularity and for good reason! It can be so polished and work appropriate, but also dressed down for a much more casual look.

The wrap feature is this dress is super flattering and covered up what I like to call my mommy belly! It gave a really complete look to a really comfortable, stretchy yet somewhat fitted dress. This dress comes in muted colors as well as bright colors so you can dress it up anyway you want! Plus, it's under $30!

I loved the look of the dress so much that I wanted to wear it as a shirt, too! I loved the wrap feature. I folded in up toward my waist on the inside, then tucked the bottom of the dress into the bottom of my bra. You could also use a thin belt underneath to hold it in place. I love the versatility of this piece.

This is the absolute perfect business casual shirt. It is comfortable and stretchy yet has a fitted look. The colors are so bright and vibrant and there are so, so many to choose from.

This shirt is a bit longer, which I love when pairing with skinny jeans (I can't wait to pair this top with white ones), but I chose to tuck it in when styling it for work. Which was is your favorite?

Nothing beats a good pair of trousers. They are the backbone of the working woman's wardrobe! Okay, okay, I'm being a bit dramatic. But they are seriously so good, you need a pair. If I see a woman walking towards me waiting some high waisted dress trousers and a blazer? Forget it! She's my boss now. That's just the way it goes when you look that good!

I went with my usual size, but wish I would have sized up. It still fit, I just wanted a bit more room in my groin area.

Have you been on Pinterest lately? If you have, then you've seen this skirt styled so many ways! It is a fan favorite right now, so I had to try it! I went for a more classic look with black and white, but I have my eye on a burnt orange color that would be perfect for fall.

This skirt is perfect for pairing tanks, body suits, casual tops, blazers, chunky sweaters, and more. It is definitely a closet staple because you can get so many looks out of one single piece.
